Where should I park?

Our car park entrance is located off Wilson Street and you are welcome to park there. Please note, we have a 5 hour maximum stay for parking to ensure there’s plenty of room for all our guests.

Can I get to The Bassendean by train?

We’re located 150m from The Bassendean Train Station. Catch the train in and head down Old Perth Road (you can’t miss us!)

Are children allowed?

The little legends are more than welcome at your local, keep in mind we are a licensed premise – so they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

Is there a Public Holiday surcharge?

Yes, there is a 15% surcharge on Public Holidays.

Can I bring my dog?

We welcome your furry friends, you and your paw pal can take a seat in our family friendly courtyard or on the ground level verandah.

Is there wheelchair access?

The Bassendean has wheelchair access via the ramp leading into our courtyard. We also have an elevator for level one access and wheelchair-accessible bathrooms on both levels.

What’s the dress code?

We’re pretty casual at The Basso, when it’s time for dinner and the sun goes down – we don’t allow high vis or steel caps.

Can I bring a cake and decorations?

We can’t wait to celebrate with you! You are welcome to bring a cake and decorations (just please avoid anything that might interfere with other guests and their experience)

Do you cater for dietaries?

Our menu has a range of options that can accomodate for vego, vegan and gluten free diets. Just let the team know when you’re making a booking, or mention it to our staff when you order so they can recommend the best dishes to suit!

Can I request a specific location in the venue?

Our team do take requests for tables but we can’t guarantee. While we’ll do our best to accomodate – it does depend on available spaces.
